SunButter Ganache

Ingredients

2/3 cup dark chocolate chips
1/3 cup soy milk or rice milk
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 tablespoons SunButter® Natural

Directions

  1. Place chocolate into a small bowl, and set bowl over hot water to start gently melting chocolate chips.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine milk, sugar, and vanilla. Heat over the stove until completely dissolved and very hot (nearly boiling).
  3. Transfer the milk into a large bowl and pour chocolate into the milk. Stir until smooth and fully combined.
  4. Measure SunButter and combine with chocolate ganache.
  5. Stir until combined.

NOTE
Ganache will firm up as it cools.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS
Before it firms up pour or spread on cake or brownies for a decadent icing.

Use as a filling between cake layers.

When semi-firm, pipe inside cupcakes before frosting for a surprise filling.

Before it firms up, serve as a dip for fruit (apples, orange segments, strawberries) or pretzels.

To make SunButter Truffles, refrigerate Ganache until firm, then form into 1-inch balls and roll in cocoa powder or dip in melted chocolate to cover.
