  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Himalayan Sea salt
  • ¾ cup milk of choice
  • 1 head cauliflower, about 2 pounds, broken into large florets

Spicy SunButter Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Organic SunButter
  • Juice from 1 lime
  • 2 TBSP Tamari Lite
  • 1 TBSP sriracha
  • 1 TBSP pure maple syrup
  • 2–4 TBSP filtered water + more as needed to thin

Toppings

  • Sliced green onion
  • Sesame seeds

Directions

>

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the almond flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, and sea salt. Add the unsweetened almond milk and whisk everything until it’s smooth. Add the cauliflower florets and stir to completely coat them in the batter.
  3. Lift the cauliflower florets out of the batter with tongs or two forks, pausing to allow any excess batter to drip back into the bowl. Arrange the cauliflower in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving a little space around each floret. Don’t stack them! Depending on the size of your air fryer, you will probably need to make 2-3 smaller batches. Close the air fryer drawer and start the timer for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, shake the cauliflower and put them back in for another 5 minutes. Check if the cauliflower is tender after 5 minutes; if it’s not, put the cauliflower back in for another 5 minutes. The cauliflower will be done anywhere from 10-15 minutes, depending on the size of your florets. You want the cauliflower wings to be nicely browned and crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside.
  4. When the cauliflower is almost done, make the spicy SunButter sauce. Whisk up the SunButter sauce by adding all ingredients to a small bowl. Add more hot water, as needed, to thin.
  5. Once the cauliflower is done, add it to a large bowl and pour a generous amount of spicy SunButter sauce over the air-fried florets. Use a spatula to lightly mix to completely coat the cauliflower in spicy SunButter sauce. Be sure to mix carefully so your cauliflower doesn’t lose its breading!
  6. Serve the cauliflower wings with more spicy SunButter sauce, green onion, and sesame seeds. Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the microwave before serving. However, cauliflower wings are best served fresh!
